A Seat At The Table
Although Kidpreneurs are technically small businesses, they sometimes have to fight for a seat at the table and are overshadowed by small businesses that are run by adults.
I admire and support young entrepreneurs and feel like they should have their own lane, so I created National Association for Kidpreneurs. There are many benefits to having access to like-minded individuals. From sharing vending stories to trading best practices, there is comfort in knowing you are not alone. National Kidpreneur Day was started because of Small Business Saturday.
On Small Business Saturday, the whole country empower small businesses by coming together to support small businesses. Again, I really want the young business owners to know they are supported and have something just for them. With that, I’ve started a grassroots campaign and requested that different cities recognize the kidpreneurs in their community by proclaiming November 1st National Kidpreneur Day. It’s very exciting and only the beginning…. You heard it here first!
